Musique casuelle is a performance based on the concept of serendipity. Its objective is to create an artistic content built from fortuitous sound associations. A dozen unrelated audio tracks (field recording, sound banks on vinyl, simple waveforms with random pitch) are played simultaneously in order to give rise to unexpected events, which are then manipulated, hoping to give the result of chance a form of musical coherence.
The performer, at the output of all these sources, must select in real time what to emphasize and what to ignore.


Hardware: turntable and vinyls, modular synth, digital samples played from computer, live audio recording (outside the concert hall)
